Alice Madness Returns Review

Alice returns to the glorious Wonderland in a whole new adventure. When we last met Alice she saved wonderland over 10 years ago and now she is back. Developers Spicy Horse and American McGee are here to make another wonderful twisted Wonderland experience, but can they pull it off? Alice is a journey that will take you far into Wonderland with a few twists and turns. There are a lot of high points in Alice: Madness Returns but from making it a great experience it gets thrown off at times. Alice: Madness Returns is a third-person platformer with weapon based combat. The games combat is very enjoyable and smooth as you fight the waves of enemies. The combat is responsive and isn’t frustrating when fighting the harder enemies. If you die it wasn’t the controls fault I can tell you that. When fighting off enemies it is very smooth switching to one weapon to the next as for Alice doesn’t stop and it is a constant flow. You can attack from a distance with the Pepper Grinder or the Teapot Cannon to stay safe or you may get in close and use your trusty Vorpal Blade which is swift and effective. The other weapon is the Hobby Horse which breaks the defense of the enemies and is a slow weapon but has a lot of power when hitting the enemies.

Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets Retro Review

Due to the fact that I am a huge fan of the movie and books series, Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, I was incredibly saddened with the ending of the era that occurred last month with the release of the final motion picture of the series. After contemplating how to retain the loss, I realized that there was one medium from which I never truly experienced Harry Potter. In the video game world. So I made a quick trip to a local EB games and bought a few of them, starting with "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" Shortly after starting to play the game, I realized it was a mistake

Call of Juarez The Cartel Review

Call of Juarez is a franchise that is very mixed. It has a very nice western theme built into them. The past titles were intriguing and had some fun ideas and enjoyable stories to follow along. Also the characters were fun to play as and had a nice depth to them. The newest fails to impress and I’m about to dismantle on how poorly done this game is. It was disrespect to the past titles and I don’t know what the developers were thinking when they released this piece of garbage to the public.

Blendimals Review

The game I will be talking about today is called Blendimals. You've never heard of it you say? Well that is about to change. If I do this right not only will you have heard of it but you will get it and pass it around to your friends. Now just the name Blendimals you must have some ideas floating around in your head. If at any point you thought of Liger from Napoleon Dynamite, you are absofruitly right. (Note to editor I meant to put abso”fruit”ly) I first discovered this game on my favourite underground vidja game news site HBG. They cover many a free indie game (Did I mention this game is free) but this one especially caught my eye because who doesn’t want to mix animals creating some sort of weird hybrid. Not Hybrid cars, but Hybrid MOTHER FREAKING animals. (I don't know if the owner will allow me swear in my reviews. He himself does swear more then any other human being I have ever met, BUT this is a semi-professional atmosphere. An atmosphere that I have already ruined with my little jokes.)
